Can anyone recommend a place to purchase a quick release connector for a dust collection system. I want to use several mobile machines to a single port. Thanks.

Rockler sells a 4" quick-release handle and also some kits that include adapters for different size ports:

Ed,
I bought my entire system from Oneida who also designed it. Here's what I use: https://www.oneida-air.com/ductwork/...quick-connects

So much to learn, so little time.....
Rocker and Woodcraft also sell a quick connect hose fitting https://www.rockler.com/4-clamped-qu...onnect-fitting This is to be used with the quick connect gate https://www.woodcraft.com/products/q...-abs-blastgate
I use the Nordfab type quick disconnects for my router table and my CNC machine. They are not inexpensive, but they are positive connections that are leak-free. Very solid!

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...
I have used these or something very like them for many years. I picked them up during sales.

I use the Fazlok connectors from Woodworkers Supply: https://woodworker.com/fazlok-4-quic...n&searchmode=2
They seal very well, easy connection, and durable.

McMaster-Carr sells a stainless steel version of the FazLok that comes in larger sizes as well. I bought one to try out, but haven't tested it yet. https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/124/285
I use Fernco couplers. Just attach to the end of your hose, and snug the other end to be a tight (ish) fit on the machine's exhaust and off you go. If you standardize all the outlets to be the same size, it's fast and efficient.

Wow! $40+ a pair for 4".
Any one have any ideas on DIY quick connect like Fazlok?
I was thinking a piece of PVC and a coupler. The user a palm router and spiral bit (possibly a jig of some sort) to cut the notch. For the pin, use a axle or shoulder bolt.
