    Did Shellawax change?

When I first started using Shellawax, I got a small 30ml bottle. It smelled sweet and waxy and when first applied it had a dull waxy sheen until friction was applied. I bought a big 250ml bottle to use as regular refiller and when I broke it out today, it has almost a cologne-like smell and doesn't get waxy upon application. I think I got a decent finish from it, but I'm slightly worried I got a bad bottle. Pics of the bottles: https://imgur.com/a/LAXv5pZ

Try stirring it up if it has been setting a long time.

Thanks. I did shake the hell out of it for about 2 minutes and it's still the same.

It could be that they were previously using ethanol which has a bit of a fruity smell and are now using methanol because it costs less.
