    Universal Cooling Fans

The cooling fans on my ULS 6.60vls are EXTREMELY loud, even when its not doing anything. When I do alot of cutting, they will get louder and that's understandable but, I'm getting to where I'm powering it on and off, just to keep from listening to it. Do any of you know of a quieter fan or a way to quieten them down?

Can I just swap in some ultra quiet case fans?

Noisy doesn't necessarily mean 'efficient' when it comes to moving air. Ever notice how the fans they stick in buses and motorhomes make tons of racket but sitting 2' from them you can barely feel a breeze? Plain and simple crappy blade design. I suspect the same is true with many of these small fans.

If a fan moves enough air, it's just fine if it's quiet
