    Painting Exterior Metal Doors

I need to redo the warehouse steel doors at our plant. We had reasonable luck with Rustoleum oil based enamel. Any other brands to consider?

We're planning to sand, apply Rust Reformer, then prime with Zinsser Metal Primer first.

    Other tips appreciated.

When we were painting metal doors we used a lot of car enamel and also used Benjamin Moore

Benjamin Moore Super Spec Alkyd Enamel is great. Durable and long-lasting.

Sand/grind to remove loose rust and flaking paint. Abrasive blast is better but you do what you can. Apply a coat of zinc phosphate primer. Apply a top coat of industrial enamel. Brands are not important. The type of product is. I am assuming an inland light industrial environment. Cheers
