Buyer beware- check measurements!

This cyclone dust collector attachment made of cast aluminum seemed too good to be true at under $20. I looked at the measurements- it’s only 7.5” tall with a 1” inlet. I guess maybe if you wanted to add one to your dust buster handheld this might work. :-)

I think it's to be used with a shop vac in a small shop. American Woodworker had one on the show last week.

Seven inches tall? That's about the size of a large styrofoam cup. That can't work.

I actually picked one up --- was planning on using it with my Nomad, but then got a Festool CT Midi and Oneida Ultimate Dust Deputy --- I've been meaning to add it in-line to that to use specifically for metal filings from the Nomad.

It seemed to work the one time I tested it, except that the food container I had it in kept collapsing due to the vacuum.
