    min lignomat drains the battery

I have a min-Ligno S/D which is invariably dead when I go to use it; add a new battery and it's fine, but more than 30-40 days in the drawer and it's not.

Has anyone else had this issue? If not I'll give the manufacturer a holler.

I went to use it today when buying some lumber. I've dealt with this gentleman before so it wasn't a deal breaker. At 80 he is starting to realize that he won't get everything done he once planned, and is selling of most of his hardwood stash.

Just the one battery? Maybe it was a dud!

My Mini-ligno goes for years sometimes on the same battery. Mine is at least 20 years old and only turns on when you press the pins into the wood far enough to activate the switch.
