    Silver Alox Swiss Army Knife

    I am wondering if anyone out there has laser engraved any of the silver alox models from Victorinox before, and what kind of results they got. I am looking to engrave five total, but if they won't look good lasered, then I will need to figure something else out.

    Thanks!

    UPDATE:

    I ended up trying to laser one for myself as a test.
    Engraving turned out silver/white color. It's pretty subtle on the silver alox, but definitely still there. I'm very pleased with the results, and if anyone else is looking for settings, the ones I used were:
    21% Power, 100% Speed, 500 PPI on a 40W Universal Laser
    High-Speed Image Enhancement Enabled with 12.7 Contrast, 39.9 Definition, and 70.3 Density
    Tuning was set to +8

    I ran two passes, but I think it probably only needs one pass.
    Hopefully this ends up being useful for someone else.

    Alox-- shorthand for Aluminum Oxide-- meaning the case is anodized aluminum. No problem for C02 or Fiber, aside from the texture
    ========================================
    ELEVEN - rotary cutter tool machines
    FOUR - CO2 lasers
    THREE- make that FOUR now - fiber lasers
