That bench was a huge project Tom. All the thought and functions are really nice. My Gosh. You should be proud of yourself, and have many happy days using it.

Like many of the other replies, WOW was the first thing that came to mind! Amazing project. I still look through the Landis book and dream of trying tackle a Shaker or Klausz bench, but my softwood Roubo will support my other projects for some time to come. Congratulations on meeting the challenge head on!

Now that is a bench, or ....... three! Love the real dogs. Two people can use it at once.
Must finish my one man bench soon.......

I agree with the others: A beautiful bench. I've made several over the years. For some reason,I have always really enjoyed making benches. At my age,I doubt I'll be making any more ! Too heavy for me to handle now since I use hardwoods like maple and beech, with 4" thick tops ! The last one I made is a sort of work bench/storage unit. It is 8' long, with a heavy gauge 2" angle iron frame beneath the top. It is full of very heavy machine tool parts and accessories.

tail vise, shoulder vise, end vise . . . . .gotta LOVE it Tom. Very nice indeed.

Can't have too many vises, but would probably kill me to have more vices . . .oh, but I can dream!

Very nice work. Lots of creativity and thought when into the design and construction.

Incredible bench. I would be afraid to use it, so I would work next to it on the floor.
Cry "Havoc," and let slip the dogs of bench.

I was socially distant before it was cool.

A little authority corrupts a lot.

You're a man of many vises. Looks like you can do anything from any angle. Really wonderful.
    Am jealous.
