With my nerve craziness I find sometimes it’s easier to pull with the Japanese tools I have. This includes a basic block plane sized Kanna I got from Stu a few years ago. Where is a good place to get a good user smoothing (hira?) Kanna?

What kind of budget in mind?
Depending on the type of nerve problems you have, you might also want to consider a Chinese type plane that you pull, but grip differently.
Contact Suzuki at Suzuki Tool. She’s supplied a few of my students and the tools have been excellent, even in the budget minded range.
Yep should be able to get a decent yamamoto kanna off of suzuki tool. Could possibly find a takeo nakano or similar at around the same price point, too. For $300 you start getting into the decent low to mid range kanna that have great performance.
Takeo Nakano makes a great plane.
Stan Covington would also be good, but he's slightly over your price point and stuck in a Typhoon....not to mention not on creek.
