    Thanks a lot Folks

    I had a really nice Thanksgiving and birthday. Sue outdid herself with the turkey and the trimmings. This year was a quiet one with no guests, just family phone calls checking in. The best part of this was that I got some shop time on Thanksgiving day and yesterday on my birthday I had the whole day in the shop while Sue braved the crowds of Black Friday at assorted shopping malls. I've had a wonderful time playing in the shop with the wood stove burning brightly and the sun streaming through the windows and onto the thin layer of snow on the ground. I don't have any wood related birthday gloats except for all of the shop time so there aren't any pictures to post. Today I get to go to a meeting of the Granite State Woodturners and Then it's more shop time. Just think, my best birthday present was a whole 4 day weekend of shop time.

    Carl, any day I wake up on the top side of the grass is a day to be happy.
