    Craigslist haul

I don't really need any of these tools, they are pretty old but all are fully functional and for $100 for SEVEN power tools plus a bunch of drill bits etc I couldn't resist.

The big Makita sander is a beast, the Makita hammer drill will be nice (but it's not SDS), the little Skill 4-1/2" saw I will definitely use, and I've always wanted a Skill 77 for some reason.

    I'm happy.

Oops, the hammer drill is still in the box.

Nice haul! Recently, I bought a Bosch Bulldog SDS hammer drill, including the carrying case from pawn shop for $70. The case included over $200 worth of bits, many brand new. I will never have to buy another SDS bit in my lifetime.

SDS is definitely better, but I'm willing to bet this Makita non SDS will be better than the Horror Fright hammer drill I own.

The Skil 77 is a type 15, around 1980 vintage.

The skil "sawzall" had the original receipt tucked in the manual $33 in 1963. LOL.

Enjoying the Makita unidrill too - forerunner of the modern drill/drivers.
