    Wood ID suggestions requested

Trying to get something close to the front accent panels on this table...

I understand it might be lighting, stain, whatever, but would anyone care to venture a guess as to what that yellowish/amber/figured wood might be...or something that could look similar? If need be, I’ll default to quilted or ribbon maple, but before I spend $ on veneer, I’d appreciate any guesses.

    Thanks for any suggestions!

My guess is Satinwood or yellow heart.
Good luck with your build if that’s the piece your making.

Thanks Andrew. I’m using this as a sort of design guide for a mahogany display stand. I’d like to replicate as close as possible that wood for the drawer front and leg inlays.

It might also be figured maple, either laminated or veneer.

My first guess would be a maple burl, maybe olive ash.

Thanks all! Comparing your suggestions to what is available from veneersupplies, I think the maples and the olive ash will probably fit the bill. Also looking at Avodire crotch....yellow/amber tone and good figure.
