    The mitered pieces are fastened with two dominoes indexed one off each face near the inside corner. The birds mouth is one piece and also fastened with two dominoes one off each face. I used the 700 domino. With the stretcher and the 700 sitting on the bench I was able to get plenty of depth butting the stretcher against the machine and centering on the V. Clear as mud? The birds mouth was cut from one piece of 2-3/8 square piece using the jig on my saw and flipping it over.

    Did you achieve the bevel on the top at the table saw? I dig it, very well done.

    I couldn’t do it on the table saw so I used a Festool porta-planer with an adjustable fence. I took 9 passes per side.
