    Vertical lumber storage

Tired of boards on basement floor. Bought from global industries. Still need horizontal7240257A-97C0-403D-9C73-E576A868F578.jpg racks for more storage space and 12 foot boards. Drilled holes into concrete floor for anchor bolts with Bosch hammer/rotary drill I bought reburbished on Amazon. Wow, it driiled through concrete like butter!

You'll like that. I used to only store tall stock vertically but, have since morphed to vertical storage of stock by weight. This is still often long boards but, now includes shorter thick stock as well. My back thanks me for not muscling that heavy stuff around in the horizontal area now; I just flip through it like a book and pull the piece I want.

Glen, it looks like you have high ceilings. Like you, my back feels those heavy boards! Vertical is more convenient.
