Thread: What current music survive the test of time?

  1. Based on the T-Shirts I see the youth (High Schoolers) wearing it's Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, and Pink Floyd.

  2. When my music is playing, per my wife (10 years younger) all of the 70's have stood the test of time.

In my opinion, we tend to love the music from our formative years into maybe our late twenties. That seems to be the music we think of, aside from classical music.

I don't know any "pop" music from my parents generation aside from some Christmas stuff and a few songs my mother would sing as she worked.

In a century only music historians will know of the music we listen to now..................Regards, Rod.

Just thought of another, Sixteen Tons by Tennessee Ernie Ford.

Of course, some formula music is better than others
    Those are lyrics, not music.
