I have some left over PT boards that I want to use to frame around the lally columns in my shop. The boards are damp. Will it become a problem if I put drywall on them, or will they dry out if I leave them for a while? Thanks.

Let them dry out for awhile...both because of the moisture that might leach into the drywall and also because they are going to shrink as they dry, causing nail/screw pops.

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...
Thanks Jim
Let them dry before you install the wood. If you build the frame with wet wood it will warp bend and twist as it dries. and it may be too much to hide with drywall.
