    4H Display Cabinet

This was based off of plan for a wine rack in the Dec 2012\Jan 2013 edition of WOOD. We don't have need for a wine rack, so my 15 year old son made the display cabinet version as his entry in the 2018 count 4H fair.. White Oak, with an oil stain, BLO and paste wax finish. All of the joinery is biscuit joinery though the corbels were attached with basic 1/4" dowels. The top was attached with figure 8 metal fasteners. The plan called for plywood shelves and a 1/4" plywood back. He used sold wood all the way around and used the same design element that is used on the sides for the back.

Nice verticality and color. I don't like the dark fumed type finishes. And the blue pitcher is just right for it. Hope he soon starts another piece.
