    Rough Cuts in BB Plywood

Can someone tell me if the mess and tear up here is due to a dull bit? Cutting baltic birch plywood. Was having pretty good luck for a little while but the workpiece turned out like this tonight. Haven't made it thru too many sheets before this happened.

    100-120ips 13k rpm

    Amana 46170 1/4" compression

What machine are you running? Spindle or Router? What is the depth of cut? if not a thru cut i would switch to a down shear bit and then do a final light pass with a upcut to clear the chips. IMHO depending on the machine your running I think the rpm's are to low and the feeds are to low. I run most all of my plywood thru cuts at 16-18k rpm with a feed of 400-560 ipm but i have a 10hp spindle
