Glad to assist. Just let me know if I need to go through these again and find additional photos.

Are you posting your build here at SMC?

What a treat that must have been! Those experiences are when you realize that the time and effort it takes to build an instrument is worthwhile.

Fully agree, Maurice. You hand it to him hoping he doesn't tear the build to pieces, knowing you can fall back on "it's my first build" but this was the opposite of that; he truly seemed to enjoy the experience as much as I did. Pretty cool, really.

I decided to upload the short video of Doyle playing my guitar. For now, this video is unlisted meaning you'll need the link to see it; it won't show up on my channel page though I may change that later to make it public.

Thanks for posting the video David. That sounds excellent and Mr. Dykes is obviously enjoying playing it!

Sounds great! And he's a really excellent player, too.

Thanks, Maurice! We didn't get it on video but he talked for a few minutes about how he liked the finish and how the guitar played and sounded. He asked me twice if that was really my first build and I take that as a compliment.

Thanks, Jim! Doyle is probably one of the top 10 pickers in the world, plays with Tommy Emmanuel in concerts, and tours the world. This is the third time I've heard him and if he came back next week I'd go again.
