    Grandson's Chest of drawers

Will let my Daughter and her 9 yr old son decide what sort of finish they want. I'll send it down to them ready to either stain/varnish..or just paint

Three drawers, each about 7" deep, by 22" wide. Maybe he won't just throw his clothes all over the room's floor, now

Nothing real fancy....but it is sturdy. There are gaps along side the drawer sides, to make things a bit easier to open and close them. He can be as rough as he wants..

Not much in the way of fancy molding..just enough to add interest.

Will be sending this down to them..and let them add the finish they want.

    Nice little project...

The exposed joinery gives this an interesting and refreshing look! Very nice!

And the Final Finish, as requested by my Daughter....

The way the varnish went on...there are now "wear marks" like this has already been used and abused..

Did not stain the sides of the drawers, dovetails are still showing...

Should last a bit longer than one from IKEA?
It is what the client wants..that is what she gets.
