I wanted to clean up the frame of a frame and panel but did not want the plane near the panel. I set up my wanna-be-Moxon with a batten and planed just the frame with my jack rabbet. Good easy combination.

Interesting use for the jack rabbet. I like the convenient size and versatility of that plane.
