About to put the second coat of ARS on a WO kitchen island top. Waited 24hrs and scuff sanded with 400. Was going to vacuum and wipe it with a little MS. Was wondering if that might cause blotching and should use a non-sticky tack cloth instead.

I just vacuum. Wiping it with MS won't cause any problems as long as you let it evaporate before applying the next coat, but it doesn't add any real benefit that I can see. Whatever little fine dust the vacuum doesn't get won't cause any problems, at least not that my eyes can see.

Don't wipe with solvent. It turns any residual dust into a form of mud which dries hard and sticks to the surface. Cheers
Thanks for that Wayne. I'll just use a tack-cloth. Cheers to you.
