    Plant Stand

Made from a few cut-offs. Had three 2 x 10s that were cut from planks used to make the side rails and foot board rail on a bedframe.....they were too big for the firepit, so

Longest of the three provided the blanks for the legs. Dowels were already just laying around in the shop..

Legs are 1" x 1" square. bandsawn to shape along two faces.

Of the other two chunks,, one was clear of knots, and became the top. Underside was beveled, to make it look thinner..then a cove bit was run around.
The third chunk was a "Knot Farm" and was resawn down into apron and blocking parts, while getting most of the knots out.

Plant Stand will get painted, later. As this is about the size of the planters it will hold, out on the porch.

These are the "scraps" I used...

And how the bottom was beveled, along all four edges.
Until the Boss decides on a colour for the paint....no money was spent. Just using up scraps, is all.

That's a really nice project...I like the "fancy feet", too. It's always nice to put good material to use and that table does the job!

Nice to use cutoffs. I seem to burn a lot for kindling,. Nice result.
