Thread: Hydrangea Tree Lumber?

    Hydrangea Tree Lumber?

My neighbor just lost her hydrangea tree and I'm wonder if the lumber is worthwhile. It isn't big, maybe 10" at the widest (which may be very big for a hydrangea).

Was tempted to just grab the trunk but it seemed more polite to take everything or nothing.

I couldn't find anything online about hydrangea tree lumber.

You may never know unless you take it.

I've always thought of hydrangeas as bushes more than trees. If you are into greenwood spoon carving, I would recommend grabbing some and giving it a whittle...

I have no idea, but taking any part of it is helping. So why not go for it? Ornamentals often have neat wood, especially for turning.
