Oh, shoot, you're talking about doing something in your shop. I was getting all ready to send you a list, and directions to my house.

My maternal Grandfather worked late in life for MKT rail road in Tulsa area during WWII. He was rail road bridge guard on the bridge across the Arkansas River.

Either of you two remember the reasons for that angled fence?

Photo was taken where the D,T & I crossed St Rt 47 in Ohio.....Maplewood, OH is about 2 miles to the north of this spot....the crew is facing south. Marion Lewis Newman is on the right, and two of his brothers are also on the cart. Not sure about the short fellow...Grandpa lew was over 6'2".....when he was killed, he was a section Foreman. They replace the pumper with gas driven carts....he was trying to get his started that morning...it finally did "catch", and shot across the diamond at Morgan Tower, in Quincy, OH.....a Passenger train from Sidney, OH was also starting across the diamond....and was doing about 85mph....

I like how you make it sound so easy

...I have the sudden urge to learn to build and play a guitar. Not sure which should come first.

Set your sights towards the less common: https://www.amazon.com/Music-Wood-Co.../dp/0385311672

After reading this I really, really wanted to build a cello. The book comes with a CD of the guy playing the instrument he made.

I had an Uncle that lived in Seminole. IIRC, he coached a amateur baseball team. I think they approached skill levels of professionals.
