    When A Deal Isn't A Bargain

I have a project in mind that I need metal table legs for. I found these at Lowe's, but after reading the review, I decided to pass.

I'll bet it wasn't only the reviews you looked at.

Pretty narrow minded to base your decision on just one review.

Nowhere in the description did it state the thickness of the gold plating!

My oppinion and experience is a deal normally cost you twice long term.

I know so many people that despite this fact and the evenednece glaring them in the face just can’t and or refuse to face up to the facts. Sure once in a while a good deal is there to be had but imop more often than not its the other way around.

Are these some kind of magic legs where only two are needed to hold up a table?

That would explain the insane price.

Why? Is it because a coffee table is usually about knee high? You can cut them down and get 4 legs out of the 2!

Man, that's one heck of a typo!
.....and they wonder why item #678987 isn't selling.

All of their Kohler metal legs have similar prices. Someone screwed up the database entry. GIGO

I don't know what the problem is. The description states they're coffee table legs... for your upscale bathroom. We mere woodworkers don't understand upscale bathroom coffee tables. And it includes LEVELING HARDWARE. Think of it.

I was going to order them but my bathroom IS the size of a coffee table.

You can save money by ordering them in white:

With that kind of savings you could buy a can of paint for your color of choice.

Who in their right mind would want a coffee table in their bathroom?

OMG, then the $1600 price in the original post may not be a typo after all.
I know Koehler stuff is expensive, but what could possibly justify $1200 - $1600 for two metal legs?

Maybe the same people who have a television in their bathroom.
