Anyone know what this tool is? Thought it might be for holding a chisel but don't see anything resembling it on their site or their one time tool history. No numbers on it, just the Woodpeckers emblem.

I don't know what it's called, but I think the purpose is to keep the ends of boards aligned during an edge-to-edge glue-up
Jerry got it. I remember reading the description some time back. The relief in each of the blocks avoids smearing the anticipated glue squeeze at the seam.

I use spring clamps on the ends of my boards. I do like those better the space will not smoosth the glue .I don't why I didn't think of that.
