    honeycomb cell size

    Hi,

I am looking to replace the honeycomb bed for my Speedys and the thickness it needs to be only comes in a cell size of 19mm (that I can find in the UK anyway) - the original sheets are 12mm cell size.

We cut a load of mylar stencils so does it matter if the cell size is bigger? It would mean that more of the smaller bits fell through to the bed underneath.

Thanks in advance for any and all help,

Awhile ago I purchased two honeycomb sizes to test out. They were both the same thickness. I found the one with the larger cell size is much more flexible. As in, it will droop compared to the more rigid smaller cell size. I only use the larger cell size for very light items such as paper and thin plastics.
I read recipes the same way I read science fiction. I get to the end and I think, "Well, that’s not going to happen."
