I got lazy and pushed for time on a box project so picked up some 1/2” x 5” x 48” walnut stock from my local Rockler. After some sanding and pore filling, it became obvious that this 5” wide board was actually a glue up. Never had that before. As you may know, their policy is no return on wood. Well, once they saw the pieces they didn’t hesitate to give me a refund even though they were now sanded and pore filled.

So point of this is, if you decide to buy pre-milled stock, check the wood over carefully, and high five to Rockler for not hesitating to let me return them.

On the other way, if they sold you solid lumber and delivered glued up, I imagine they have to honor the operation. Legally. A purchase/sell operation is a contract.
