FYI Eagle America has 10% off pocket hole jigs, code is POCKETHOLE valid through 6/7. No relation to them, just thought appropriate given the thread.
I bought the K5 a few years ago for many of the reasons already mentioned. And one of the main reasons was the vacuum connection in front. If I have a lot of pocket holes to drill I pull out my only corded drill and plug it into my Fein vacuum so it only comes on when the drill is running. Does a pretty fair job of collecting the swarf.
Ahhh. I forgot about the thickness markings.

K5. I've used the K4 to build a kitchen's worth of cabinets. Bought the K5 for myself. The clamp up front is why. The wings are another big plus.
