They obviously didn't bother with a cross-language check. Exxon was the result of this sort of effort; Enco being scrapped as it sounded like the Japanese conversational term enko to refer to a stalled car. Global markets have meant thinking globally for a lot longer than the internet has been around. Global thinking just didn't use to land on our phones
