    Cutting really thin boards from a reall big log.

    I ran across this sawmill video while looking for something else. I was impressed by the size of the log and then wondered why they were cutting such thin slices. Their rigging for picking up the log seems unique as well. Big Log Sawing

    Looks like about1"thick boards...just appears thin due to size of log
