New book just published: Woodworking Wisdom and Know-how

Just picked up on a whim at Barnes and Noble and published on May 8th of this year. $16 right now. "Woodworking Wisdom and Know-How"

    Very dense 1000 pages (4891 claimed illustrations/diagrams/photos).

A bargain if you ask me. But take a pass on you don't like small print.

    Who are the authors ?

The author is listed as Taunton Press, and it appears to be a collection of Fine Woodworking articles. Amazon lists at least two versions with different ISBNs, with the earliest from October 2014.

I bought that a couple of months ago. Lots of good reading but the print is small and the pages are more like newspaper quality. The book is large and somewhat flimsy so it has to pretty much lay flat on the bookcase. It appears to be reprints of articles fro Taunton's magazines.

Still, well worth the money and some enjoyable reading. Just have your reading glasses handy.

Sorry, didn't realize a prior version was already out. Yes, appears a collection of Fine Woodworking articles. If you don't mind the small print, a ton of articles in one place.

This reprint formula is used by many other publishers including Wood, Woodworker's Journal, Woodsmith, PW, Handyman, etc. to boast sales of their products. Many FW books on special topics have been produced in this manner.
