How do I find minimum outlet height above floodplain for my county?

I'm having electrical work done on my lower level, and I'm in a flood zone.

How do I find out the zoning regulations for the minimum height for outlets (and a breaker box for that matter) over grade level?

I'd talk with a local electrical inspector. When I've contacted them, they have always been happy to help me with information, sometimes their information saved me money.

I live in a small town of about 31,000. I call our local building permit office where the inspectors work. It's part of public works department.

Do you have to get a building permit to build in you area?

Thanks, Ken. I'm actually in Pinellas County, but I used that info to get some phone numbers. I'll try to contact an inspector and see what info I can get.

You do have to get building permits here.
