    Bad planer knife?

    Hey everyone!

Ive noticed recently my DeWalt 735 planer leaves a couple small lines down a work piece after running it through. If you guys think it’s the knives, should I flip the knives or replace them? Im looking to sell the planer tomorrow morning, so any input would be awesome!

    Thanks,

Yes, damage to knives. Doesn't take much, and the slow feed speed is part of it. I would simply make sure the prospect knows the knives have two usable edges.

Loosen 2 of the knifes and offset one to the left and the other to the right. That may remove or minimize the ridges.

Thanks for the replies! Ended up guy buying didn’t care much about it.
