    Odd circuit breaker

I was at habitat the other day and saw an odd circuit breaker. I think it was a square D QO breaker but it had no handle. It had a coiled green wire similar to what a GFCI would have if it was white. In lieu of a handle it had a LED on the front that would be visible when installed. It had the clips on the back to connect to the buss bars.
Only thing I can thin kis the light would show that the ground wires were good? But this would set up stray currents in the ground wiring and could cause issues with electronics and corrosion.

Sounds like a surge suppressor. It was a 2 pole device, right?

it had both clips so it was connected to both buss bars. no neutral connection, no output screw.
