Thread: DNA in PVA

    DNA in PVA

Has anyone heard of, or tried, using DNA as a reducer in PVA (regular Titebond, or other) to flash the water off faster?

We are playing around with thinned PVA as a seal coat on some porous materials but when you thin with water the dry times (if not used on an absorbent material) get ridiculously long. I was going to give it a go but figured I'd ask.

Never heard of that. I would call the tech number on the bottle. They don't keep you waiting and always come up with the
    right answer.

Thanks Mel. Im pretty confident in the response from Franklin lol. One of the guys just mixed some up in a cup so we will see. Turned to an egg yolk color and actually got thicker and more workable. See what it looks like in the AM.
