I may have posted this before but having just listened to it I wanted to pass along a suggestion posed by one critic that Bob wrote this to be circular....that the 2 riders approaching are the joker and the thief.

When I'm in the mood for some Watchtower, which happens often when I fire up the barbie and pour a couple fingers of DoubleWood waiting for the coals to come alive, I'll cue up Dave Matthews first, then Jimi, then finish with The Man. Never get tired of it. Artists who are willing to take on a song like that are usually the real deal.
