    Ripping Blade for Makita Tracksaw

    Looking for a good rip blade for my Makita tracksaw I don't need the very best will be ripping some 1-2' slabs and some hard pine

    Hi,
    I would recommend the Freud LU87R006M20 which is a 14 tooth blade. It fits the Makita tracksaw arbor and will make short work of whatever you need to rip. Amazon sells it for $27.

    To round out your tracksaw blade arsenal, you might also consider the Freud 28 tooth blade. Between these two Freud blades and the Makita finishing blade that came with the saw, you'd have pretty much any situation covered.

    I hate the freud blades.. I'm a huge fan of the tenryu 28t for ripping.
