    Segmented travel mugs

    Hello fellow turners!

    While browsing the internet, I came upon these cool travel mug inserts. How neat! Figured I’d buy a few and give it a shot.
    The left one is maple and wenge, while the other one is maple and purple heart. I did about 4 coats of polyurethane while chucked up and spinning at the slowest speed my little lathe would go.

    very nice looking. I picked up a couple of the inserts and have been wanting to find time to do something with them. I really like the colors and proportions on yours.
