FROM BILL -
I appreciate your mentioning concerns of potential “vandalism”. This shouldn’t be a problem as this “donor recognition wall”, however it’s constructed, will be displayed inside a medical/hospital environment. Again, my part of the project will be to engrave hundreds of names onto whatever plaques, and arrangement, this young artist comes up with. Mostly, just trying to help him figure out the best way to go ‘bout it, as, apparently, he’s never tackled this kind of project ‘fore. (Personally, I kinda like the French cleat idea best, ‘cause the plaques could be removed for refurbishing, or replacement, as time goes by; if left unglued - BTW: I mentioned "keyhole mounting" to him, too.)
My biggest personal concern right now is: will I be charging ‘nough? Really no idea how long it’ll take me to ready the name list ‘n then do the actual engraving. Hoping I’ll be able to “cut ‘n paste” from their provided Excel list; we'll see. - I'll try to keep you posted; have weeks, yet, to go ... BILL
