Thread: Question about miter saw station design

    Thanks Jon for the link and the photos! This is very much like what I had in mind. The only difference that I have is that my station is already wide enough for a full width cut by my miter saw. But I can only hope that my project comes out as nice!

    I made the table width just slightly more than half of what the saw can cut, so pieces won't fall off.

    My 12" SCMS is mounted on a mobile stand from harbor Freight.

    Only negatives so far is no storage under the stand and I have yet to figure out a good way to set up stop blocks for repetitive cuts. But I do like folding the legs up and rolling it back into the garage like a hand truck when I'm finished with it. I simply don't have the room for a built in solution like you guys have.
