36", or 42"? The pics won't load, so I can't blow up to see.
Either way, one of the best saws that size ever made in my opinion.

Very nice Darcy, I presume it's mostly for scroll work type applications?

Actually going to rebuild the little y16 on the trailer with the y36 so they can use it for small work.

Nice. Very well done! That's an impressive piece of machinery.

I think you're going to need to hire some taller help, or get them some boxes to stand on.

For those of us who are not OWWM enthusiasts, can you give some details?

1936 Yates American Y36. 5hp DD think it's about 20" under the guides. Weighs in at about 2700 pounds.

Nothing left untouched on the rebuild.

Yea but can you get a 1/8” or 3/16” blade for it?

How wide are the wheels and what max size blade is it designed to handle?
You sure do some amazing work reconditioning this big old iron. Very impressive.
Wish I had the space and shop for something like that.

Awesome!!! I always wanted to see what a 2" Woodmaster .7 TPI could do. The 16" looks like a toy, in comparison.
