I've decided to swap our all of the Jet lathe's spindle bearings, but can't seem to get the spindle to push through the speed controller. Is there a video that deals with this? What's the trick?

Hi Russell, I see that no one responded to your query. I suggest that you do a Google search on "Jet 14-42 bearings replacement". I did a saw several "hits". Also, if you go to youtube and type in the same search you will see some videos that specifically address this.

I got it done but had to apply some muscle (a dowel and large hammer did the trick) to get the shaft loose. All is well.
