Very nicely done Stewie - not overcleaned and will make a fine user.

What did you use to finish the handle? Looks great.

Well done. Saws from that era certainly are handsome and that one has seen little use.

Are you happy with the Grammercy saw vise? I think I have found a way to securely mount it on my bench, only when needed.

    Stewie,
Just curious, how many saw sets do you have?
I have five, but my Taintor set is my favorite.

Also, do you do a screwdriver set on fine tooth saws?

    Stewart,

Are you saying that is the actual etch on the saw in your post?

Lowell; I have 4. My personal preference is the Eclipse #175.

Pete; those images of the medallion and saw etch were taken from the institute site. But they do replicate what is featured on this saw.

Stewie. Where did you see the #175 on your Eclipse? I often use my Eclipse on the larger saws, but do not recall seeing a number. Otherwise I go with the 42x for my smaller saws. Nice save, by the way.
