Thread: Clone for the L-N 60 1/2 block plane

    Heck...if you make a Holtey A28 type plane and the price is right...I'd be happy to be in line to buy one (or send to a friend).

    I think it'd be far easier to make an infill block plane than a Stanley block...
    a.) either a milled metal frame and CNC cut infills with a stock pin, stock brass screw (lee valley) and CNC cap.
    b.) watercut sides/sole dovetailed together with other parts.

    Oh, and since Derek isn't self-promoting enough:

    You could scale down the design to make a very effective super block plane.
