Just wanted to say to anyone on the fence regarding the CBN wheels, just go for it. What a difference this set up makes. While over thinking a grinder and wheel to regrind bevels for months, Wood Turners Wonders puts up a 1/2hp slow speed Rikon grinder and 10” CBN wheel at a nice sale price and I just couldn’t resist.

I also picked up the One Way tool rest, and got it all mounted up, and a Tormek angle guide. I reground a Two Cherries chisel to 20 degrees in about 15 seconds (it’s a 80 grit wheel). Been wanting to use my Two Cherries set for paring and went after the 1/2” first. A quick secondary bevel and it’s making nice curly shavings.

And one of the best parts of all this is very little grinding debris...just a bit of metal dust from the chisel.

Thanks for all the previous post input on grinders and CBN wheels. Another satisfied user here.
