I bought this one several years ago. It slightly enlarges the picture but the quality is great and I wanted a small light weight one.

I did have to find a power supply of which I have lots so it was fairly easy to find a suitable one.
I see you can get one at Amazon as well.

I think this equates nicely to wood turning as well . . . . .

Your putting something that big into your turning? I bought one of these to play around with https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H1Q7W2Y...&pd_rd_w=HBe6R The picture quality is pretty good and the led lights are super bright. Best part is i just plug it into my android phone. Its about the thickness of a pencil and about 1.5 inches long.

I fail to see how a Tompikins gage T can reach 20" deep into a vase! I use a Lee Valley and have for many years--works great. Someone explain how a camera can possibly show the wall thickness in a deep vase--I missed something here yeah.

We are not putting the camera inside of the turning but use it as one would use the laser. Take a look at John Lucas’ post #7 of this thread. It explains the method.
