Through wedged tenons, flush or proud ?

    Just curious...

I tend to make them flush if they may be touched and proud elsewhere...

Flush on joinery, maybe proud if it is a rustic piece, but never a through tenon if it is to be readily seen or touched. To me, the whole item is the feature, not the joints. Cheers
