Cypress knees?

Anyone turned baldcypress knees? I have a bunch coming up in the yard and wondering whether they would be interesting to turn. So far, lawnmower has been keeping them down, but I'd cultivate a few if I thought they might be worth it.

as a kid in Fla. I remember people used to make lamp bases with them or a nice billy club but those were knees that were pretty old and 18 inches or so , used to get them when the water was low in the rivers and saw them off. I have laminated boards together and turned it that way ,I like it kinda like a hard pine, depending on the growth rings.

Thanks David. Not swampy here, but the trees grow well. I might get a small bowl out of a knee.
